Lita Malcolm
Co-Founder & CEO
Together with her husband David, Lita founded High Sierra Showerheads® from the ground up with no capital, only creativity, perseverance, and a clear vision. Thanks to their hard work, innovative spirit, and a growth-oriented mindset, they transformed a simple idea into a premium, award-winning brand. Lita’s story began in her childhood. Her parents were rice farmers and water essential for agriculture was always in short supply. At a very young age Lita looked for ways to save water, aware of the constant threat of droughts and the need to avoid high electricity and water bills. This experience inspired her to help create water saving shower heads that reduce consumption without sacrificing performance and allow people around the world to pay less for electricity and water, always driven by the desire to help the planet. Today, Lita has turned that dream into reality. High Sierra has grown tremendously; our products are shipped worldwide due to their authentic quality, proven performance, and strong customer satisfaction. Lita’s dream continues: in the near future, she aims to make High Sierra Showerheads a leading company and number one in the world. She manages operations with precision and passion, ensuring that every product reflects exceptional quality, elegant design, and innovative performance. Lita grew up on a large rice farm in northern Peru. As the middle daughter in a family of ten children, she learned the value of hard work from an early age. At sixteen, she moved to Lima-Peru in search of better opportunities, where she later met David Malcolm, whom she married. Lita deeply values her role as a proud wife and the mother to her only son.

David Malcolm
Co-Founder
(Retired)
They don't call him Nozzle Guy for nothing. Born in the San Gabriel Valley east of LA, David spent most of his boyhood in Fresno, California, learning the "ropes" from his dad, sprinkler design engineer Richard Malcolm. He was just seven years old when his father left his job at Rain Bird, the leading global manufacturer and provider of sprinkler irrigation products to become the chief engineer at Buckner Sprinklers in Fresno, CA. He later launched his own sprinkler manufacturing business (Weather Tec, Inc) in Fresno, CA at which David and siblings worked on weekends. After Weather Tec, Full Coverage Irrigation, Inc was created to manufacture specialty nozzles for impact sprinklers that significantly improved sprinkler irrigation uniformity at reduced pressure to save water and energy. David later stepped up to lead the family business after his father's death in 1992. One great day, while working at FCI, he had an epiphany – the catalyst for High Sierra’s breakthrough technology. For hundreds of years shower heads had basically used the same design (multiple nozzles through which tiny streams of water flow). Using the same technique that his father invented to manufacture high efficiency sprinkler nozzles, David developed a single nozzle design for shower heads to break a stream of water into a cascade of uniform, rain-like droplets. And, it just so happens to work best at very low flow rates. The first of many patents was awarded and in 2012 High Serra Showerheads® was formed. Together with his wife Lita, High Sierra® began to manufacture the world’s best low flow shower heads which continue to be the best to this day. When he's not at work, David enjoys re-imagining and expanding his mountaintop home overlooking the Central Valley of California to make room for his ever-growing family of 1 son, 3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, and 8 grandkids.

Aron Roberts Marketing and Business Development, Social Media Maven
Aron grew up in Southern California in a small, semi-rural town in Ventura County. He headed north in his youth to study at UC Santa Cruz then earned his Masters in Library and Information Studies from UC Berkeley. Aron decided to make the San Francisco Bay Area his home. He worked for over 31 years at UC Berkeley, his alma mater, in a variety of information technology positions. His responsibilities included developing and documenting collections management software used by museums, working with researchers using Savio, the campus's high-performance computing cluster and other geeked-out fun. Aron's primary role with High Sierra Showerheads is helping the world find out about our company and its products. He has proven to possess a knack for reaching out to journalists, prospective customers or potential partners, and he is our all-time favorite Twitterati. Some of his favorite things are reading and walking or hiking (not at the same time), in and around the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, which he enjoys thoroughly.
