First Impression (Day of Delivery and Installation) – Five Stars!
Lightning Fast Shipping: Super quick. Ordered just after midnight on a Thursday, received shipping notice around 10:30 a.m. the same day. Delivered around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, the very next day (I live within 300 miles).
Low Waste Packaging: Shower head came in a small box with minimal packing supplies. Did not come with paper instructions, but on the bubble wrap was a sticker with a QR code to scan for instructions (also for returns and exchanges). I didn’t notice the sticker at first, but it was extremely easy to find an installation video via the High Sierra website.
Sleek Look: Glad to see there are multiple finish types, I opted for the matte black to match other items in my bathroom (plus I think it looks better in general). Plus it feels durable.
Quick and Easy Installation: Parts sold separately, but arrived assembled. All I had to do was attach the holder to my shower arm. No teflon tape to fiddle with, which can be a pain. Took me about 30 seconds to install.
Excellent Water Flow: Felt much more powerful than my existing shower head. Love the option of the trickle valve to lessen flow while lathering, applying conditioner, etc.
So far, very impressed. I ordered this shower head to replace the one in my apartment, which is fixed. Needed something handheld to make cleaning the shower easier. After a lot of research, I landed on this one. I live in California which limits shower heads to 1.8 gpm. I know that most shower heads can be modified to produce a higher flow rate, but I preferred something California compliant. This shower head works as advertised, and even with a low gpm it seems much better than what I have been using. Will try and follow up later down the road to see how it holds up.

This is the third one I’ve bought. When I move, one of the first things I do is to replace the showerhead with the High Sierra handheld. It proves you can have a low-flow showerhead that works.

We bought the High Sierra handheld unit for our van shower and we are extremely happy with the quality! I was skeptical at first that a low-flow showerhead would feel good but it does just as they advertise. We had a plastic handheld previously that hurt when you used it. I am glad that thing is gone!

I was tired of my showerhead breaking.I researched name-brand only to find out in the reviews that they break, and our expensive. I saw High Sierra website and was impressed with what I read. Hard to believe it’s low flow. Quality – durability is outstanding. I don’t believe I will have to replace it once a year like all the other hand held showerheads ,that would explode in my hand.
