Shower heads for correctional facilities, outdoor public showers, and locker rooms are built to be tamper proof and ligature resistant, and are usually installed in solid metal wall mounted receivers. The receivers are uniquely designed by the different manufacturers with varying sizes of non-standard female threads. High Sierra® is the only shower head manufacturer in the world that produces water and energy saving shower heads to retrofit the majority of these wall receivers. This makes it easy and economical to replace just the shower head rather than the entire wall receiver assembly. The High Sierra® patented and exclusive nozzle design that delivers a full cone spray of heavy droplets means that the facility can reduce it’s water use and the energy to heat it by up to 50% without compromising the effectiveness of the shower. High Sierra® high efficiency vandal resistant shower heads are also available with female threads and set screws to lock the shower heads onto standard shower arms.
