Warranty
Limited Warranty Highlights (Summary Only)
This summary is for convenience only and is not part of the Limited Warranty, below. If there is any conflict, the Limited Warranty controls. Please note that some jurisdictions’ laws may grant more extensive coverage to consumers than those summarized below.
- Who and where we cover: Coverage applies to the original purchaser (and, where required by applicable law, any subsequent owner during the warranty period) of genuine High Sierra Showerheads‑branded shower head products in the United States (U.S.), with warranty shipments made only to U.S. addresses.
- Coverage periods: STEELHEAD™ shower heads are covered for 10 years in residential and multi‑family use and 5 years in business and institutional use. For purposes of this Warranty, “residential and multi‑family use” means use in a dwelling unit (including houses, apartments, and condos) used for long-term residential occupancy. All other High Sierra shower head models are covered for 2 years from the date of purchase. Hoses for STEELHEAD™ handheld shower heads are covered for 5 years in residential and multi‑family use and 2 years in business and institutional use. All other High Sierra hoses for handheld shower heads are covered for 2 years from the date of purchase. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed are limited in duration to the shorter of (a) the minimum duration required by applicable law in the consumer’s jurisdiction, or (b) the applicable express warranty period stated in this limited warranty.
- What we cover: We warrant our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and when installed and maintained according to our instructions, subject to the exclusions in the Limited Warranty. If a covered issue arises during the applicable warranty period (as stated in our Limited Warranty), we will, at our option, (a) send user-installable repair parts, (b) repair the product ourselves, or (c) replace the product with the same model, or a current model with substantially similar features and performance, as determined by us in good faith.
- What’s not covered: This Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse, abuse, improper installation, use with incompatible third-party products, exposure to harsh chemicals or improper cleaning, failure to prevent mineral buildup on metal surfaces, or failure to follow our installation and maintenance instructions. We do not cover labor costs for repair, removal, installation, reinstallation, or diagnosis.
- Limits on damages: Our responsibility (and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy) is, at our option, to ship user-installable repair parts, or to repair or replace the shower head (or hose), subject to any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. We are not liable for water damage to property or any other incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, except where such exclusions or limitations are prohibited by law.

HIGH SIERRA SHOWERHEADS — LIMITED WARRANTY
Effective Date: March 25, 2026. Products purchased before the Effective Date remain covered under the warranty terms in effect on the original retail purchase date (or, where applicable, the delivery date).
This limited warranty (this “Warranty”) is provided by MALCO LLC, doing business as High Sierra Showerheads. In this Warranty, “High Sierra,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to MALCO LLC.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. This Limited Warranty is in addition to rights you may have under applicable law, and does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot be limited by law.
Coverage under this Limited Warranty is provided to the original purchaser of a genuine High Sierra Showerheads product (and, to the extent required by applicable law, any subsequent owner during the warranty period). If you purchased from a seller other than High Sierra Showerheads or an Authorized Seller, we may require additional information to verify authenticity (see Section 2).
Original purchaser means the first end-user purchaser who purchased the product new for first-time use (whether for personal, business, or institutional use, including bulk purchases), and who can provide proof of purchase. (For clarity, the first end-user purchaser includes a gift recipient.) If the product was purchased from a seller other than High Sierra Showerheads or an Authorized Seller, we may require additional information reasonably necessary to verify that the product is genuine and eligible under this Limited Warranty.
For purchases primarily for business or institutional use, this Limited Warranty applies as an express warranty, but certain consumer protection statutes may not apply depending on the purchaser and use, as determined by applicable law. For purposes of this Limited Warranty, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, warranty duration is determined by the installation’s primary use category in Section 1 (Residential, Multi-Family, or Business and Institutional).
This Limited Warranty is offered only for products purchased and used in the United States (“U.S.”). Warranty service shipments are available only within the United States; see the Service Area Requirement in Section 2. For purposes of this Limited Warranty, “United States” means the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia (and excludes U.S. territories and possessions), unless we state otherwise in writing.
This Limited Warranty applies only to High Sierra Showerheads‑branded shower head products and High Sierra Showerheads‑branded hoses covered under Section 1 (whether included with a handheld model or sold separately), and not to any third‑party components or plumbing fixtures.
This Limited Warranty covers products or replacement parts only and, except where applicable law requires otherwise, does not cover labor, service calls, or other costs to remove, install, reinstall, or diagnose issues with the product. Where applicable law requires coverage of such costs, High Sierra Showerheads will provide the remedy required by law.
This Limited Warranty is the written warranty we provide for this product. Any changes must be in a written document expressly stating it modifies this Limited Warranty and signed by an authorized representative of High Sierra Showerheads. No reseller, installer, distributor, marketplace, or other third party is authorized to make any warranty or representation on our behalf, or to modify this Limited Warranty. Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits rights or warranties that cannot be limited by law.
High Sierra Showerheads maintains archived copies of prior Warranty versions and can provide the version applicable to a specific purchase upon request. This Limited Warranty is made available to purchasers prior to sale (including online) and is available upon request.
1. How Long Are You Covered?
Warranty coverage begins on the original date of purchase, as shown on your order confirmation or purchase receipt (or, where required by law, the date the product was delivered to the purchaser). Warranty coverage is divided into the following categories:
“STEELHEAD™ by High Sierra” Shower Head Models
- Residential – 10 Years: Applies to STEELHEAD™ shower head products when installed within a single-family dwelling used for long-term residential occupancy (not primarily used for stays of fewer than 30 consecutive days).
- Multi-Family – 10 Years: Applies to STEELHEAD™ shower head products when installed within a long-term residential dwelling unit (including apartments, condos, townhomes, and similar) that is leased to tenants as a primary residence. Common-area or amenity-area installations of multi-family settings (including shared gyms, clubhouses, pool facilities, and other non-dwelling unit areas) are classified as Business and Institutional, below.
- Business and Institutional – 5 Years: Applies to STEELHEAD™ shower head products when installed (a) in any premises offered for short-term occupancy (including hotels, motels, and short-term rentals of residential dwelling units, where “short-term” means occupancy of fewer than 30 consecutive days per guest or tenant), or (b) in any other business or institutional premises (including gyms, schools, correctional institutions, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, government facilities, non-profit organization facilities, and outdoor installations at business or institutional premises).
All Other Shower Head Models branded by High Sierra Showerheads
- Standard Coverage – 2 Years: Applies to any High Sierra Showerheads®-branded shower head model for which this document does not state a different coverage period. If another section states a different coverage period for a specific model, that model-specific period applies.
Hoses branded by High Sierra Showerheads (sold specifically for use with “STEELHEAD™ by High Sierra” Handheld Shower Head Models)
- Residential – 5 Years: Applies to hoses for handheld shower heads when installed within a single-family dwelling used for long-term residential occupancy (not primarily used for stays of fewer than 30 consecutive days).
- Multi-Family – 5 Years: Applies to hoses for handheld shower heads when installed within a long-term residential dwelling unit (including apartments, condos, townhomes, and similar) that is leased to tenants as a primary residence. Common-area or amenity-area installations of multi-family settings (including shared gyms, clubhouses, pool facilities, and other non-dwelling-unit areas) are classified as Business and Institutional, below.
- Business and Institutional – 2 Years: Applies to hoses for handheld shower heads when installed (a) in any premises offered for short-term occupancy (including hotels, motels, and short-term rentals, meaning occupancy of fewer than 30 consecutive days per guest/tenant), or (b) in any other business, or institutional premises (including gyms, schools, correctional institutions, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, government facilities, non-profit organization facilities, and outdoor installations at business or institutional premises).
Hoses branded by High Sierra Showerheads (for use with All Other Handheld Shower Head Models)
- Standard Coverage – 2 Years: Applies to any High Sierra Showerheads®-branded hoses for handheld shower heads for which this document does not state a different coverage period. If another section states a different coverage period for a specific hose, that hose-specific period applies.
The applicable warranty period is determined by the installation’s primary use at the time of installation. For mixed-use or partially-rented properties (including accessory dwelling units, room rentals, or similar), we will classify coverage in good faith based on the primary use of the specific dwelling unit/bathroom where the product is installed, using information reasonably available to us, unless the owner provides reasonable documentation showing a different primary use. For clarity, any reclassification will not reduce coverage for claims based on defects that first occurred before the change date.
If the installation’s primary use changes during the warranty period, please notify us in writing as soon as reasonably practicable so we can apply the correct coverage category going forward. Any change in coverage category will apply prospectively from the change date. If you do not provide notice or reasonable documentation, we may classify the use reasonably and in good faith based on available information, subject to applicable law.
Any repair or replacement is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. Replacement parts and replacement products do not restart the original warranty period, except as required by applicable law (including any required tolling/extension or minimum period for repaired/replaced parts).
2. Where You Buy and Submit Warranty Claims Matters
- Service Area Requirement: We can ship parts and replacement products only to a valid United States (U.S.) shipping address. If you are outside the U.S., you are responsible for providing a valid U.S. shipping address and for any related forwarding, shipping, taxes, or customs requirements. This shipping limitation describes how we provide warranty service; it does not create any additional rights or expand the geographic scope of this Limited Warranty. Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law within the U.S.
- Proof of Purchase: We may require reasonable proof of purchase to confirm warranty coverage (for example, a receipt or order confirmation). If you purchased directly from us, we may help you look up available order records upon request.
- Genuine Products: This Warranty applies to new, genuine products purchased for first-time use. If you purchased from a seller that is not High Sierra Showerheads or an Authorized Seller, we may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify authenticity and eligibility. ‘Authorized Seller’ means a seller we authorized on your purchase date, as shown by our business records or other reasonable evidence. We may deny warranty coverage for counterfeit products, and for materially altered or tampered products to the extent the alteration or tampering caused or contributed to the issue. Seller authorization status may be used as an authenticity/eligibility factor, but we will not deny coverage for a product that we can reasonably verify is genuine and eligible for warranty service under this Limited Warranty. This limitation does not limit any rights you may have under applicable state law.
Forms of acceptable proof of purchase include: (a) a direct order confirmation email, (b) a retailer receipt/invoice, (c) an e-commerce marketplace order confirmation, or (d) other documentation reasonably sufficient to verify the purchase date, seller, and product. Payment records that do not identify the seller and product (for example, a generic credit card statement line item) may be insufficient.
3. Our Promise (What is Covered)
High Sierra Showerheads warrants to the original purchaser (and, to the extent required by applicable law, any subsequent owner during the warranty period) that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The applicable warranty period for each product/model is stated in Section 1 and begins on the date of original purchase (or, where required by law, the date of delivery). If, during the applicable warranty period, a product or part fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service, we will provide the remedy described in this Limited Warranty, subject to the exclusions in Section 5.
This Limited Warranty does not cover cosmetic conditions that do not affect product function (including scratches, dents, or finish wear) caused by normal use, cleaning, or installation, unless the cosmetic condition results from a defect in materials or workmanship.
4. Our Commitment to You (The Remedy)
If a valid claim is made during the applicable warranty period, High Sierra Showerheads will, within a reasonable time after we receive and evaluate the claim, and at our option, unless applicable law requires otherwise: (a) provide replacement parts, (b) repair the product ourselves, or (c) replace the product (with the same model or a current model with substantially similar features and performance), as described below:
- Sending Replacement Parts for Repair: We will ship the necessary user-installable replacement parts or components (such as O-rings or internal parts) needed for repair at no cost to you, and provide repair instructions.
- Repair the Product: If the product cannot be repaired by sending replacement parts or components, or otherwise at our option, after we receive the product from you we will repair it and ship it back to you (outbound shipping) at no cost.
- Replace the Product: If the product cannot be repaired, either by sending replacement parts or components, or by repairing it ourselves, or otherwise at our option, after we receive the product from you we will replace it with the same model, or a current model with substantially similar features and performance (as determined by us in good faith), and ship it to you (outbound shipping) at no cost.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE REMEDIES ABOVE ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. This does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot be limited by law, and does not apply if this limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Please retain the product until we confirm that it is needed by us for repair or replacement. If we require a return of the product as part of a warranty claim, we will provide return instructions. If we do not require a return, you may be asked to responsibly dispose of the product after the claim is resolved.
Where applicable law requires High Sierra Showerheads to bear the cost of transporting goods for warranty service (including, for example, any jurisdiction that requires warranty service to be provided “without charge” or requires in-state repair facilities), High Sierra Showerheads will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse the consumer for reasonable return shipping costs as required by law. We will always cover the outbound shipping costs to send the repaired or replacement product back to you.
In jurisdictions where applicable law does not require High Sierra Showerheads to pay return shipping, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us, unless we approve the claim and elect to provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return shipping. If you are responsible for return shipping, upon request we can provide reasonable shipping guidance before you ship the product.
This Limited Warranty provides repair or replacement. Any refund remedy is available only if and to the extent required by applicable law. Apart from this Limited Warranty, we may offer a time-limited money-back or exchange guarantee under separate terms.
5. What is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by the following:
- Non-Compliance with Plumbing Codes: Damage to the extent caused by failure to conform to applicable plumbing codes during installation or maintenance, including (but not limited to) codes pertinent to water pressure range.
- Incompatible Products: Damage or malfunctions caused by fittings, adapters, or hoses (whether third-party or otherwise) that are incompatible with the product, damaged, or improperly installed. Use of non‑High Sierra parts or components does not, by itself, void this Limited Warranty; however, this Limited Warranty does not cover any damage or malfunction to the extent caused by non‑High Sierra parts or components.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Damage, malfunction, or nonconformity to the extent caused by unauthorized modifications to the product, including removal, alteration, or bypass of internal flow control components.
- Improper Installation or Maintenance: Damage due to failure to follow installation and maintenance instructions provided with the product and available on our website. If there is a conflict between sources, follow the instructions included with the product, unless we provide updated instructions for safety or regulatory reasons. Updated instructions may be recommended for best results (and may be required where applicable law or safety considerations require), but will not be used to deny a claim based solely on a later change in instructions.
- Physical Damage or Abuse: Physical damage (such as from accidents or dropping or striking the unit), as well as abuse or vandalism.
- Chemical or Cleaning Damage: Damage caused by improper cleaning methods or cleaning agents not permitted by our maintenance instructions, including harsh, acidic, caustic, solvent-based, or abrasive cleaners/pads. Use only the cleaning methods and agents described in our maintenance instructions. Maintenance instructions are included with the product and available on our website. If there is a conflict between sources, follow the instructions included with the product, unless we provide updated instructions for safety or regulatory reasons. Updated instructions may be recommended for best results (and may be required where applicable law or safety considerations require), but will not be used to deny a claim based solely on a later change in instructions.
- Mineral Buildup / Lack of Maintenance: Damage, malfunction, or deterioration of metal finishes to the extent caused by a failure to clean the product and prevent a buildup of hard water minerals (such as calcium or scale) on the metal surfaces, as outlined in our maintenance instructions.
6. A Simple Claim Process
- Find Your Order Info: Have your website order number or e-commerce platform order ID ready. If you’ve purchased your product directly from us, we can help you try to locate proof of purchase upon request.
- Contact Us: Contact our support team via our online contact page at https://www.highsierrashowerheads.com/contact-us/ (or any successor contact page posted on our website), or call us at +1 (888) 445-1941. Please do not send any product back to us unless and until we provide return instructions.
- Describe and/or Show the Issue: To evaluate a warranty claim, we may request reasonable information to confirm purchase/coverage and understand the issue (for example, a quick photo or short video). We may also ask you to perform reasonable troubleshooting with our guidance. If you can’t provide a photo/video or complete troubleshooting, tell us and we’ll work with you on another reasonable way to evaluate the claim.
We encourage you to contact us promptly after you discover an issue, so we can assist you more quickly. This request does not shorten any written warranty period or limit any rights that may apply under federal, state, or local law.
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to confirm eligibility promptly after receiving the information we reasonably request, and (if approved) we typically ship parts or replacements within a commercially reasonable timeframe based on product availability.
7. Legal Limitations
The following limitations apply to this Limited Warranty to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of implied warranties: TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED (INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, OR THE MAXIMUM DURATION PRESCRIBED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WHICHEVER IS SHORTER. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
Limitation of damages: The repair or replacement remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies under this express Limited Warranty. However, this provision does not limit, waive, or exclude any statutory remedies or damages (including incidental or consequential damages) that you may be entitled to under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Except for such non-waivable statutory rights, HIGH SIERRA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, FOR EXAMPLE, WATER DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, MOLD OR MILDEW, DAMAGE TO FINISHES OR PERSONAL PROPERTY, LOSS OF USE, OR LOST PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, OR A BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. If any portion of this section is held unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Governing Law and Venue
This Limited Warranty, and any disputes arising out of or related to this product or warranty, shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and High Sierra Showerheads agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to this Limited Warranty shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California; however, NOTHING IN THIS SECTION REQUIRES A CONSUMER TO WAIVE ANY NONWAIVABLE RIGHT TO BRING A CLAIM IN ANOTHER FORUM OR UNDER ANOTHER STATE’S LAW WHERE APPLICABLE LAW PROVIDES SUCH A RIGHT.
